Training Features
Admins and training manager can not package and reuse content for learning paths or training for their employees. Using pdf’s with hot spots linked to content as work-around today is extremely difficult to maintain, manage and scale! Field used pdf's heavily to train!
There was no data schema and services in place yet to support the concept of a curriculum builder or ordered content. This required a large amount of architecture review meetings and reviewing conceptual and proposed designs to dial in. Led and insured the importance of testing designs with users for speed and precision in the project.
I collaborated frequently with the lead architect and CEO during the project promoting interation. The mindset .. "its easier to pivot in pixels vs the massive costs/risk to pivot in code" if we have it wrong ..
1.5 year project. enterprise impact to customers (customers to be determined, 1M+ users)
required design and research, replaces learning queue and content management
researched with 10 enterprise and commercial customers
designs needed for both the administration and device consumption experiences.
Interface is rich in feature and allows for full drag n drop or reordering of content. Can link to external content and import directly from user's drive or from a corporate content repository, etc.
Designed tool to build digital forms via a WYSWYG experience. Made easy for a training manager to build versatile, responsive experiences for their end user.

Mapping outcomes for Partial Submitted Forms and Syncing Scenarios between devices
Restaurant and retail verticals leverage digital checklists to drive operations and procedures.
Digital forms are valuable for driving compliance, health and safety food check and Covid health requirements. Human error occurs often using paper to audit or perform product inventory. Data recorded in forms can be used for visibility of outliers, decision making and other purposes.
Project was in desperation with deployed and untested designs. Was a very development-driven project, which presented challenges, difficulties and misteps in the design direction. Imposing massive impact on customers!
Undisclosed in the project was a goal to refactor an existing product called Mach Forms. Replicating its function and streamlining an improved experience and to make offline. Customers were already struggling with this 3rd party tool.
I recommended adjustment of designs after research with a few customers to cipher specific pain points. Was able to recommend and produce solid new design direction. The project was a long one to roll out, but is now in production and sold regularly as a valued product to customers and prospects.
The new design also provided future roadmap for expansion to other controls and features.
Current system is diffiicult to use with inherited usability problems. Experience feels old. Not able to integrate with a content library. Not responsive on devices when forms render. Cant use offline and save states of form use!
Can't view real time on mobile devices while constructing the form. Forms are not responsive and work offline!
Too many choices and floating edit panel doesn't always stay inline. Options not consistent and understandable
